FAQs

We work with you to make the prepress process as simple as possible. Please contact us if you do not see the answer to your question here.

1. What types of files do you accept?
Our prepress department is 100 percent computer to plate. We prefer PDF files but can accept Tiff, EPS, Postscript and native application files. Native files are subject to additional charges for generating PDF files.

2. What types of storage media do you accept?
We accept files on CD, Flash drive, or an external portable disk drive.

3. What types of software do you accept?
Adobe InDesign CS to CS5, Adobe Photoshop, Quark Xpress, Illustrator, and Adobe Acrobat.

4. What is the difference between the CMYK and RGB color space?
"RGB" refers to the primary colors of red, green, and blue. "CMYK" refers to the primary colors of pigment: cyan, magenta, yellow, and black. The CMYK colors are used on printing presses to make any hue possible for "full color printing."

5. Where can I find Pantone or PMS color tones to choose from?
We have created a chart that shows all the PMS colors and their RGB and CYMK equivalents. Click here to view the chart.

6. Do you do bindery in-house for materials such as magazines?
Yes we do. Please see our Services section for more information.

7. Do you print on a web press?
Yes we do. Please see our Services section for more information.
